Bolt
Bolt (voice of John Travolta "Grease"), is is the super-hero star of a hit TV show in Hollywood. When he's accidentally shipped to New York,  he embarks on a cross-country quest to save his person, Penny (Miley Cyrus - TV's " Hannah Montana"), convinced that she is in real trouble on that Hollywood soundstage.

Although his superpowers don't seem to be working, with the help of a world-weary old street cat named Mittens (Susie Essman "Curb Your Enthusiasm" ) and an overweight TV-obsessed hamster in a plastic ball Rhino (Mark Walton voice of Goosey Loosey in "Chicken Little"), Bolt sets off on a long trek across America during which he discovers that he doesn't need superpowers to be a hero.

Co-directors Chris Williams and Byron Howard,  longtime veterans of the Disney Animation studio in their first directing effort keep things moving throughout at a pleasant clip. Although this really isn't a  message movie, it manages to make the audience aware of cat prejudice and that some owners abandon their pets when they move. And there's another subliminal message:  that a movie studio might not be the perfect place place for a kid to grow up.

All the voices are fine, particularly John Travolta, and Miley Cyrus. Some additional voices that you'll recognize are Malcolm McDowell ("A Clockwork Orange") as the diabolical Dr. Calico and James Lipton (TV's "Inside the Actors Studio") as a pompous TV director.
